    Job Description

    The Field Marketing Specialist supports the Field Marketing Team in pursuit of identified priorities and partners with the North America Sales and Account Services teams as well as counterparts within the North American Marketing Team to provide Field services in support of the revenue plan. Helping to respond to over 1000 Field requests annually, this Specialist traffics these requests to subject matter experts around the Organization and responds to them using tools provided. This position serves as a liaison between Marketing and the Field to help deliver best practices and proven marketing tactics to assist in achieving business objectives, with a special focus on and awareness of monitoring, analyzing and reporting measurements for all investments by tracking key performance indicators and impact. Also in support of several foundational marketing activities and initiatives, this individual works to collect and synthesize input from many facets within the Organization and identify recognized trends. Additionally, the specialist may facilitate the development of Field tools or materials for use within Marketing that are aligned with our brand standards and enable efficient and effective attainment of goals.

    • Project management for the development of, or individual creation of, Field tool announcements, instructions, guidance in support of business line/solutions/new product launches. This includes creating new content and/or synthesizing existing content and editing and proofing it, as well as developing PowerPoint presentations, Intranet copy and other communications. Examples: FBR library content, Security module, Price slides, Orlando mtg. materials, stats, Proposal Wizard conten
    • Partner with the Field or Field Marketing Managers to guide and execute local marketing campaigns that maximize: effectiveness/yield, corporate image and message, campaign integration, quality, leverage processes and ability to impact business objectives. Activities include: consulting on strategy and creative development, vehicle/component recommendations, expectation setting relative to planning, scheduling, deliverables results and budget; project mgmt; content writing/editing; vendor integration and management; and a focus on measurement and results tracking. Examples: ALL program, strategic field requests.
    • Communicate report results/analyses to appropriate internal audienes.
    • Ensure that intranet marketing web site content is current and perceived by users to be informative and dynamic. Develop and adhere to an editorial calendar.Deliver qualitative and quantitative results/yield reporting, budget reporting, and target-effectiveness reporting and analyses per program, offering and/or time based.
    • Iterate, manage, create and publish regular communications related to marketing initiatives.
    • Maintain marketing calendar(s) for assigned areas/lines of business, coordinate marketing calendar roll-up and communicate as appropriate to marketing and field.

    Job Requirements

    • Must have interest in and natural inclination for written and verbal communication skills, along with project and vendor management skills. A demonstrable focus on results, plus strong organizational, planning, process, proof reading, and interpersonal skills are desired. Must be detail-oriented, and able to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and interact, work alongside and team with diverse levels of employees, including management – to navigate internal resources and deliver results.
    • Creative thinking, critical analysis and problem-solving skills, along with flexibility/adaptability are essential. Knowledge of design process desirable.
    • Must have working knowledge of personal computing, using Microsoft OS, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook (or Lotus Notes), Adobe Acrobat and, ideally web publishing software. Must be familiar with common office photocopying, facsimile equipment, LCD and related projection equipment and voicemail procedures. Familiarity with database software such as Goldmine and/or Access is highly desirable, but not necessary.
      Must be an independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and a strong desire to be part of building something new. A resourceful self-starter with an affinity for producing consistently high-quality work and yield in a manger that is customer focused and exceeds expectations will do well in this position.
    • Total travel: 10%, Overnight travel: 10%
    • Education / Experience: 4-year College Degree / 2 – 4 Years
