    Job Description



    This role will be in the “Records Management as a Service” organization. RMaaS will enable full lifecycle management for Customers’ physical and digital records and information and provide predictive insights into that information, through a consumer quality user experience. This newly created and critical organization will be instrumental in supporting Iron Mountain customer's digital transformation and expanding Iron Mountain's relevance as global Information Management Services provider.


    The RMaaS Senior Software Engineer (BPM) will provide technical leadership in the design and development of a cloud-based BPM solution. This is a technical role; the ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on experience implementing BPM solutions using platforms such as Activiti, JBPM, and/or Pega.




    • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
    • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
    • Participate in design discussions about the technical implementation and consider the tradeoff to support business value, scalability and delivery timeline
    • Design and develop workflows of varying complexity using Activiti
    • Integrate with and deploys services to cloud platforms
    • Work with infrastructure teams to implement and build scalable systems
    • Develop unit tests with a test driven mindset
    • Perform unit and integration testing
    • Debug and address performance issues
    • Design and develops for security considerations, anticipates security risks
    • Document architecture, design, and configuration of solutions
    • Deliver releases in an Agile development methodology
    • Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects

    Job Requirements



    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT-related field
    • 10+ years of Software experience, with a minimum of 4 years in BPM with ACTIVITI BPM engine
    • 3 years of experience working with Agile scrum methodologies
    • 2 years of experience interfacing with and deploying applications to cloud platforms. Google Cloud Platform preferred
    • Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills with a track record of delivering production grade systems in a team environmen
    • Motivated individual who learns quickly, has pride in building a new product and can engage others to accelerate technical solutions
    • Mastery of solution design and architecture principles
    • Experience in working with distributed teams
    • Experience with server oriented architectures and web platform applications with ability to define and integrate with APIs and REST services
    • Architectural governance and security review experience
    • Experience with code repositories such as subversion / git and artifactory repos
    • Must have experience in : ACTIVITI v6, Java v8, MVC 4, REST Web Services, JSON, XML, BPMN 2.0
    • Backend: Strong POSTGRES SQL, MS SQL 2008, PL/SQL IDE & Tools: Eclipse
    • Programming: Angular JS, HTML5, Javascript
